Onimusha 3: Demon Seige

Finally, Samanosuke is back and with no real explination to why or how he dissapeared. But that doesn't matter, no, not as long as the fighting is still there. Not as long as there are still secrets up the Yin-Yang to unlock. Definitly not as long as the graphics are still kickin' (though only slightly better than the last game).
Yes, it seems nothing has changed since the first game, except the fact that only one person, the enemy Nobunaga, knows that Jubei (Onimusha 2's hero) even existed. Samanosuke just continues his journey.
But, Capcom obviously had access to a lesser-known to unknown actor and had to find a way to apply him to the game. So- an entirely new lead character is added to the story line in a bizzare, perplexing way that only makes sense if you wanted this cock-nosed actor in the game as much as the producers did. And the result is a game that switches from one character to the other throughout the game as the storyline progresses; similar to the RE style secondary character sequences (which are also in this game), only with nearly equal playtime as the main one.

Ok, the fighting is solid most of the time, but sometimes the camera angle is so plain bad you cannot even see the enemy from behind samanosuke's M.C.-Hammer parachute-pants. The targeting system is terribly flawed though, since it loves to target the harmless flying birds wizzing around, rather than the 450lb beast raising its 6ft sword to come crashing down onto the retarded Samanosuke's skull because he is busy sniping some birds to put over the mantle. But thankfully, there aren't a terribly large amount of birds to face, and they are easily dispatched so you can get on to fighing the more dangerous foes.

But, I seemed to like all that somehow, as a new character meant MORE WEAPONS, and that is something I definitely liked, since more weapons meant more fighting styles. I was thoroughly satisfied, and I will remain happy untill I get every secret this game has to offer.
