Zomboid Yeah, some of my fondest memories from the 90's are of renting mk or mk2 for genesis and trying to figure out the fatalities with some friends

bigtimecow i think MK4 could've been better, 'cause the fatalities sucked.
deadly alliance is a favorite, only because of the different fighting styles you can choose throughout play. this one tho (deception) looks like it will top them all. and MK3 wasn't so bad, it was good to see all the characters in one game.

and i made my first thread on that whole sexality thing, didn't go too well

Dr. V I was just talking about this the other day how, people like us have been with mortal kombat from the beginning. The first memory of MK i have is watching Kano rip out someones heart. I was like "YES THIS IS SO RAD!" After that I used to beg my dad to take me to a local liquor store to play MK2. My brother actually got in the newspaper after he did that shang-sung fatality where he turns into that Goro guy from MK2, what's his name again? The article was about how like violence in games was ruining people and shit.
It's just cool to think back and remeber reading Game Pro in the super market and writing the fatalites down on my hand and reading about the fabiled "Sexality".
Then after all the different MK3's, it lost it's flavor. But then 4 got me back. I remeber sitting in a bowling alley parking lot when I was like 11 or 12 saying "If they ever make a MK4 I wanna be in it."
Then let's not forget Mytholiges and that ill-fated Jax/Sonya spinoff.

All in all MK is one of the only things that I can say, I've been here since the beginning. Sorry for rambling on, but reminising is fun.

James Yes, there's a lot of good stuff going on here. I'm fucking psyched that Noob Saibot's returning. And the online play will be great. I also like how the stage fatalities can be executed mid-fight. The Konquest Mode will probably be very interesting, with it's free-roaming adventure style and create-a-fighter setup. Supposedly, they're even going to have every character from the MK games in Konquest to interact with.

It's just a damn shame that 90% of MK fans are fucking retarded pre-teens. There's very few fans who were there from the start, and it seems those are the only fans who can spell properly and don't cum all over themselves when they hear the word "Fatality."

James Yep. Most of that I'd already seen, minus a few scans from magazines. But this is a game everyone must get. Online play, dammit. ONLINE PLAY.
