the_dudefather the tewtris one was funny, especially when he started chasing the guy

Schimid The MGS one was simply good because he ran behind the counter at the bakery.

soundtest The Shenmue one was totally the best. "Do you know where I could find some sailors?" killed me. The MGS one was ok - i liked when the old lady spotted him and the ! and danger music a lot. The rest was meh. Tetris i only liked the remix. I wanna see more of this though - funny shit for sure.

i doubt it - wouldn't this fall under the area of parody?

Bennett The biggest problem from what I've seen (granted they only had a couple on the site), was that the Shenmue one was BY FAR the funniest, but it's a pretty obscure game, methinks.

"would you like to play a game of Lucky Hit?"
"How about a game of Lucky Hit?"

Schimid The Punch-Out!! one looks kinda weak, like they're just gonna run around in pink and orange jumpsuits. The great thing about the other skits is that you could be able to recognize the game they come from (Except maybe the Shenmue one) and two guys biking around in nondescript jumpsuits just wouldn't do it.

I'd love to see Kid Icarus, though.

James Thanks to Chojin for pointing out that all the videos are now hosted by SA, so they're a lot quicker to download.

I still like the Tetris one the best. The other ones are funny, but there's just something incredibly hilarious about a Tetris block running around trying to fit places.

Schimid I still say the Shenmue one is the best. I guess it's because I'm one of the few people that actually played it.

I crack up whenever he asks the guy to play a game of Lucky Hit.

Anonymous MGS one is the best. I love when he sneaks into the back of that restaurant.

CaptainBubba The MGS one when the old lady sees him and the exclamation appears over him and the danger music plays made me actually laugh. I'm definitely getting this, and hiding it from everyone I know.

the_dudefather the metal gear solid one was good. if mega64 turns out to be a big hit i can imagine a lot of copyright lawers attacking them

pjalne They should upload the Punch-Out!! bit featured in the intro.
May 7th, 2004 09:06 PM
executioneer i bet i would think it was really funny too if i'd ever played that game
May 7th, 2004 07:38 PM
Schimid Jesus, the Shenmue video is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
May 6th, 2004 07:45 AM
James It is. The remix of the Tetris theme really adds to the video.
May 6th, 2004 07:33 AM
pjalne Looks funny. Will probably be better once I get to watch it with sound.
May 5th, 2004 05:30 PM
ProfessorCool That was pretty cool.
May 5th, 2004 04:31 PM
James Well, even if you can't see it, you should just agree that it's fucking hilarious.

I demand this thread gets more attention.
May 4th, 2004 09:50 PM
Drev oh no. I already did that. It just sayd it can't support it for some fucked up reason.

also, my bit torrent is fucked up too.

James Care to elaborate? If not, I can only assume you're one of 3 people who have yet to install Divx and Xvid codecs.

Drev NONE WILL PLAY
May 4th, 2004 06:31 PM
James Yeah, their download server is really shitty. Even on cable, it took me 40 minutes each for the videos. Maybe I'll buttrape Chojin and get him to host them for a short while.

I should talk to Rog about this, too. They're gonna be at the San Diego Comic Con (MCCLAIN), and maybe this DVD stuff has potential for advertisement, or even a contest.

Comrade Rocket I hate my 56gay.

I saw the begining of the intro. All the way to the metal gear solid thing. I couldnt stop laughing.

When the one guy was dressed up as Luigi and he did the victory dance i fell over laughing.

Schimid OMG

It's a channel made for gamers, I guess. The thing is, it isn't like other shows on TechTV. The channel takes games seriously and is dedicated. I really like it :o

I'm e-mailing G4 now :o
May 4th, 2004 02:36 PM
James Funny you should mention that. At the bottom of the page, they say: Are you bored? Wished Mega64 was on G4? Email them and say so.

I don't even know what G4 is.
May 4th, 2004 02:34 PM
Schimid

I really fucking wish I could see the Shenmue one...they should put this stuff on G4.
