GADZOOKS Remember that one episode where Elmer walked up to the rabbithole, turned to the audience and said "Be very very quiet, I'm hunting Wabbits"

HAHAHAHAHA! I remember me and my posse laughing at that and the black guy said "YO DAWG THATS OFF THA HOOK, I CANT BELIEVE HE SAID THAT OOOOOH!"

Then Milhouse came home, saw the black guy, and tied him up to the bumper of his car and dragged him about 10 miles downtown. It's because he's a racist.

So what's stopping you

All the cartoons are uncut, some have commentaries and shit. The extras are really cool. It's a really fucking great set, actually. A lot of people agree with me too, just read the reviews on amazon.

Warner intends to release EVERY looney tune. That's 1100 or so cartoons (I think), and that will eventually lead to 20 or so sets of the same size. Hopefully they'll come faster, because at this rate it'll take 20 years before they're all on DVD

They quote the hell out of classical music in those things. I was watching one where the characters of books were coming to life on the book shelf. Frankenstein yielded a large, plodding Boris Karloff-esque creature, which marched around to a little motif from the first part of Wagner's Ring Cycle.

sports I remember watching some ''Sonic and Friends'' or ''The Adventures of Sonic'' on USA in the mid 90's. The 2nd one was better. 1st one was....so...out there. Just lame, but yet cool.

I love Looney Tunes

I really started noticing the music in Looney Tunes and old Tom and Jerry cartoons recently. This stuff kicks ass.

Add to that the way they manage to be constantly entertaining without too much dialogue, developed plots, or complex characters, and I think I'm going to get tapes of all the Looney Tunes episodes and just show them to my kids instead of letting them watch the crap that they call cartoons these days.
