These photos don't show the entirety of the torture at Abu Ghraib. They are just some of the ones that were released to the media. Donald Rumsfeld expressed a desire to punish whoever had made them public. Other coverage including the footage of US soldiers riding around on old women before slaughtering them and the photos of prisoners being forced to eat their own cut-off genitals were considered too graphic for release to the media. |
