Sweet-ass gig and I'm leaving for a month This isn't a job for the long term but this is by far the sweetest gig I have managed to land so far, so I'm pretty excited about it. I am going on tour in California with an Austin-based band called Blue Blood Ration. The pay is great and I get to use one of Earl Hacker's electric fiddles. The one I'll play on looks exactly like this:  I am leaving early tomorrow morning (actually in a few hours heheh) and I'll be back sometime around the end of June. I can't sleep.. I'm just gonna go on ahead to DIA and wait for the plane....oh man. |
