Hobo Renee I'm pretty sure the names of dead minors are public information every where as long as the family has been notified.

The laws probably vary from state to state.

AChimp Of course, if no death record exists, they laugh at you and keep your money.

Cosmo Electrolux James,

It's tough to find death records online. The best you can get for free is the obit from a local newspaper, if they keep them online. Most states, for a small fee, will send you death records. I know in Alabama it's $12.00.

Dole No, he is trying to figure out if one of his internet laydeez has actually killed themselves, or whether they have just stopped talking to him.

Question about death records

I know that if someone is still a minor, their name can't be published in a newspaper (or maybe that's just if it's related to a crime, I don't know). But is it possible to find out if a minor has died, by name, though death records?

Also, is there any good place online to find up-to-date information on death records?
