Protoclown | The Young Ones is fucking brilliant and I have to agree that Vyvyan's entrance in the first episode is the best character entrance EVER.

a live-action ATHF where the characters aren't food-products, or in New Jersey, or even in America, or possessing any powers, and the characters have distinct sterotypical personalities, and they have musical guests, and there are no mad scientists or aliens, , and the writing is actually funny even when you aren't stoned. but other than all that, just the same, yeah. |

pjalne | DVDSoon were pretty slow up until about a year ago, their past is probably haunting them. My friends and I must have ordered a hundred DVDs from them without any problems.

I was fucking raised on The Young Ones. I remember I used to stay up every Monday to watch BBC 2's comedy night and I spent the first 12 years of my life watching The Young Ones, Blackadder, Bottom, The Fast Show, Reeves & Mortimer, Harry Enfield & Chums, Rab C. Nesbitt, Red Dwarf, The Day Today and all the specials and other random crap they used to play along with them. I think a few of those would be painful to watch if I went back and viewed them those, but I guarantee that they were a million times funnier than anything the BBC is producing aside from The Office these days. I want those days back. ![]() It doesn't make much sense, but it's a parody of the nauseatingly boring english sitcoms that came before, particularly The Good Life. PS MORE PEOPLE NEED TO WATCH THE SERIES "BRASSEYE" IF THEY HAVEN'T ALREADY. |

The Young Ones Oh my god, best show ever :D If you haven't seen it before, it's a british comedy, that doesn't aim to make any sort of sense, about 4 guys sharing an apartment and tons of really strange and hillarious stuff happens. Jixby had an avatar if vivian, a character on the show |
