is the geforce 4mx a pci graphics card. If so then you should be able to add a decent agp card. if it is agp then dont expect to get antoher agp card in there or a pci card that is any faster. generally the onyl purpose to getting another video card is to run dual montiors, video cards cannot be put together(in almost all cases) to form one faster video card or anything. I would recommend to just by one faster card, perhaps an ati 9600pro/xt. you can sometimes find em in the 130 dollar range and it should provide MUCH faster frame rates. |

Dual Graphics Cards - Need Tech Asst. I have an NVIDIA GeForce 4MX420. The one recent card that Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow doesn't support. Fucking hardons. Anyway, I understand that you can hook up two graphics cards. I want to buy another one so I can play the game. Prolly a 64MB ATI or something from the GeForce 3/4 family. How do dual graphic card setups work? I'm not doing this so that I can have two monitors but more so I can play this damn game. Is there a master/slave card setup? Is it a pain in the ass? |
