FartinMowler I don't know what Achimps way of doing is (I dunt understand)...they have a CDRW at future shop for $30 bucks and I might buy that for transfering my files because the cable and the network card is more expensive

Perndog To hook up two CPUs you need a motherboard with two CPU sockets. Get that far and then come back for more help.

FartinMowler thankyou very much...that's all I want to do is transfer files. I don't care if one has internet and the other doesn't.

whoreable you can transfer files if you have a network card in each computer and get a crossover network cable.

you can get some serial cables and shit, but networking is the best option, and if your comps dont already have network cards you should add them anyways since they are so damn cheap/

Hooking up two CPU's

I would like to have two CPU's side by side hooked up to each other. I will have seperate monitors and keyboards but would like to be able to transfer programs. What cable would I need?
