I got SpyBot to work now, so that's not a problem. I removed all the found spyware shit, but I still have the problem. And thanks for moving this thread. Now nobody'll see it, and I'll still be fucked. |

| AChimp | The new version of Spybot tries to make a system restore point before scanning, and that's where it usually dies. You can turn that feature off by switching to Advanced Mode and messig with the settings. |

I just had a "problem" with my computer an hour ago, so I find it very eerie that a thread like this showed up. I got a popup all of the sudden (I wasn't even looking for porn or anything hahaha "yeah right Esuohlim" you say but for serious) saying that my computer was infected with a parasite called SeekSeek. I immediately restarted my computer and tried the GoBack thing, but the soonest I could set computer back was a fucking 336 days ago. I thought I had fucked up my computer somehow. Anyway, AdAware fixed my problem. Sorry James.

Need some computer help immediately I keep getting popups. I used spy/adware scanners, and nothing turned up with Ad-Aware, and Spybot just insisted on freezing. I also have some files in my system try I want to remove. Not disable. REMOVE. I believe the two are related. So, help. |
