Set a folder the way you like, and then go to Tools>Folder Options>View and click on Apply To All Folders. That usually works for me. This is a bug in Windows. ![]() |

Problem with my folders I tried searching online, but the keywords are too common to find anything even remotely related. Let me just run down the current problem in execution: -Open My Downloaded Files folder, everything is in Thumbnail View, arranged by name, with the status toolbar shown. I remove the toolbar, and change the view settings back to List and Arrange by Type. -Open up IE. Status toolbar is gone. Re-add the toolbar, close IE. -Open My Downloaded Files folder, everything is in Thumbnail View, etc. The folder properties reset when opening and closing ANY internet browser, and not only when trying to readd the toolbar. It's really really annoying, so any help would greatly be appreciated. |
