Thanks... Ya...the fax machine that I had with Win 98 and dial up was a bitch to figure out... I only need to send one stupid fax a year to some company that I do contract work for |

| AChimp | You need a fax-modem to send faxes, if I remember correctly. The hardware inside is different because the line is slightly different. :/ |

Ms Kittyhead is right. You need a standard 28 or 56k line modem to be able to use your computer as a fax machine, & even then, with most software versions I've used, it's a bitch to setup. However, I'm probably wrong... |

I know you dislike me, but, i thought id help u out anyway From my experience, you can't get a program to send/receive faxes from a cable internet connection cause its not hooked up to any phone line. I could be wrong, it could be different for you, but thats the trouble we ran into at our house. |

FAx machine IF I have cable internet can I get a fax program for my computer? I thought I could see a fax program with my WIN 2000 pro but I can't find it... |
