little vaios are nice i have wireless and a regular network card for it, and it works very nicely. i use it for taking notes in class/internet access at school (wireless network). and it's under 2 lbs. |

That reminds me of something I've been wondering about, and I might as well be a jerk and ask it here. I'm looking for something laptop-ish that's lightweight and pretty much just for typing. So it wouldn't need any heavy specs as long as it can run Word, or something. It wouldn't need net access, not even an operating system as long as transferring documents to my PC wouldn't be a big hassle. Should I be looking for a Notebook (which is an Apple product, if I remember correctly, so that might cause problems with transferring documents)? |

Price Range: around $1000 I'll use it for writing, watching video, editing video (maybe)...but primarily writing and internet usage while on the road. Needs to have lots of storage space. |
