If I remember correctly, 1st Ed. hit dice was a d8. I've never played 1st edition, though. I've only heard LORE. |

D&D My girlfriend wants to learn to play D&D, so I bought a 1st edition Gary Gygax DM guide (because it was cheap: we have one at the used book store I work at). So in it there's these monster charts, and they give a number for hit dice but don't say how many sides said dice should have. Anyone know what it's talking about? |
