Yeh Anyway one reasonable criticism of Calatrava is that his works tend to look kind of similar to each other. He's been diversifying of late though. He's cool. Another guy I like a lot is Norman Foster (see Reichstag, and that egg-shaped building in London). |

I'm sorry. I had no idea who you were talking about, so I did a search for "famous architects" and grabbed one of the first names that I saw. I feel like such a fraud. Like Calatrava. |

theapportioner | Eh not a fan of Pelli. I hate the Petronas towers (and other examples of gargantuan Asian revivalism like the Jin Mao and Taipei 101). The other stuff that I've seen doesn't really stand out to me. |

Helm | If he is who I think he is, I like his concept of architecture as 'high art' insteand of 'applied art' in that it's ok if it looks good but doesn't hold any practical purpose. But that's it, for me. I'm more of a Bauhaus fellow. |
