Re: Kefka being a fem... In Japan's pop culture, effeminate men are often admired. Someone remind me of the term they use. And dandies used to be attractive in high European society for a while. But I think that was a couple of hundred years ago. Oh, and FF7's plot had way too many inconsistencies to bother picking it apart. I remember filling three pages of a notebook with an analysis in seventh grade and I couldn't figure out a fucking thing for certain. Then I come online and read a couple of well-written faqs and find out that no one else could either. Kinda like Chrono Cross... |

| Perndog | Seriously. Kefka is the only great villain I remember from Final Fantasy. All the others were just scary monsters (Chaos, Zeromus, Sin) or almost-badass people (Sephiroth, the chick in FF8, Kuja [I haven't finished FF9 so I don't know who the big bad is]). Kefka was just plain evil. He killed people for fun. He built a tower so he could wipe out *towns* for fun. And he did it with style and cleverness. | ||

Funnily enough, I just got my very-late OPM, and they listed Sephiroth as the most overrated villain. "So because this guy looks kinda neat (the fangirls love him for looking like a member of the Girlymen Club) and he walks though fire in a cutscene, he's automatically revered as the greatest Final Fantasy villain ever? If he's such an awesome villain, why does he spend half the game on the run and the other half sitting around a crater, with his only acts of note being the aforementioned firewalk and the slaughter of Aeris? Whatever." As you play through FF6, you'll find that Kefka does more than anything Sephiroth's claim to fame can... um... claim. Besides, I killed Sephiroth the first time by accident. BY ACCIDENT! |

Kefka was fucking INSANE. He held Godess-powers for fucks sakes. Sephiroth was a bitch. All he did was kill a woman then run the hell away. Your party members should be the villains, they let out the Weapons

Kefka's SUPPOSED to be a... well, not a faggot. But he's intended to be very flamboyant. He's fucked up. Sephiroth was just an asshole, but Kefka's downright evil. You'll see soon enough. I'm surprised you went for FF3. RPGs are fairly expensive compared to other older games. If you have a PSX/PS2, you should have gotten FF Anthology. |
