the greatest video store EVA!!!

little britain rocks the socks off me, the radio version is very good as well.

as for current shows, i tend to avoid bo'selecta like the plague. as its main fanbase is made up of 11 years olds who like to hear the word 'fuck'

I used to have a book of all the scripts....fuck knows where that went. They were a bit hit and miss, but there were some gooduns...I liked 'The Beat Generation' and the 'Five go...' ones. The bad news ones were amazing, I would love to see those again.

Captain Goodtimes I wouldnt count reno 911 as too much of a sketch considering its more of a fake reality police show.

Chappelle Show wouldn't be half as bad as he didnt give away half the sketch when announcing it.

Dole Little Britain is a fucking funny sketch show that was shown over here a while ago..

incidentally, Jixby: have you heard of filthy rich and catflap? Its the missing link between the young ones and bottom, and just came out on dvd...would tell you about it, but last saw it when I was about 12....bit weird as I recall, not as good as the young ones.

N00bKill3R Mr. Show is fantastic... all the sketches combined perfectly and it was hilarious

Krythor Both Harry Enfield & Chums and The Fast Show aren't really intended to be seen as sketch shows in the American sense, so much as sitcom compilation shows. Neither are particularly great, in my opinion, and I never did like sketch comedy until I saw Mr. Show.

If you can find it online or whatever and you haven't already seen it, I'd recommend A Bit of Fry and Laurie for another British one. It began sometime in the late 80's and ended in 1995.

Studio8 In the meantime, you can all watch my sketch comedy show and then rip it to as many shreds as you can.

Who's in?

FS Yeah, the Fast Show is funny for a few episodes, then it's just dull as fuck. Must be the first sketch show based entirely on running jokes.

huond The Fast Show would eb great except its the same fucking thing every episode
