NOISY PEOPLE Noisy people are OK. Leave us alone. WE are better than people who whistle Xmas Carols under the breathe during summer thinking they are being quirky. Or sighers. Hummers too. Those small annoying noises cut through the air at any level. |

When I used to have the problem, some good old-fashioned Carcass or Obituary, louder than the original noise, usually was a good technique. The "Mirror Mirror" modus operandi is effective and a significant saving of words and energy. And even if it doesn't work, at least you managed to envelop the disturbing noise beneath another sound you choose. This is a viable option only if you live in a civilized country were people can't buy guns, though. Anyway, alternative options: ear plugs, a smile and some diplomacy, or guns. |

i put on my headphones are full blast and if that doesn't help (the freshman faggots on the city bus actually overpower that) then i'll yell for them to shut up but without looking at them, and strangely, they do. either that or i'll just stare at them until they look back at me and if they start going to one of their friends like "oh look, HEHEHEH, he's just like, staring at me" then i'll waive or something, and get them creeped out. ehh, probably not. i need to crap. |
