i'd prolly want to be stuck in Mario Sunshine for the rest of my life. It's pretty much the afterlife, with paint and confusing platform puzzles. |

![]() ![]() I win. Also I remembered this awesome camp movie I saw when I was 10 or whatever that's on the same 'Video Game Champ' vein. I don't know what it's called, but I'll describe the fragments of plot that have stayed with me through the years and hopefully one of you will help me track down this amazing movie. Ok, there's a kid who's amazing at video games. But he can't play anymore because - get this - every time he looks at the screen of an arcade, he sees reflected in them his memory of when he was making out with some girl and her father walked in on them or something. Anyway, he's still considered legend in the video game scene (sic). I don't remember how, somebody calls him out to a duel. And he has to overcome his shady memories and play like he never played before. That's basically it. Also I remember this fat slob that was also awesome in video games. He was a friend of the protagonist. When he's called out to a duel, he opts to eat a sandwitch for the first 2 minutes of his game time, resulting in the loss of two lives. But never fear! he finishes up with his meal and then grabs the arcade sticks and beats that other guy with just his last life. I remember them playing Ms Pacman or something. Anyway, that's all I remember. I'm hoping rog or someone else might have seen this little 80s gem and can give me a name 'cause I really want to see this again. So, any of that stuff ring a bell? |

NEW MINIMOCK: "THE BISHOP OF BATTLE!" Here's my first in-depth horror movie review of the season, "The Bishop of Battle" is one of several scary tales from the "Nightmares" DVD. It features a young, punky Emilio Estevez who is obsessed with beating one video video game. Hope you guys like this one, I'm pretty damned happy with how it turned out. ![]() "THE BISHOP OF BATTLE!" http://www.i-mockery.com/minimocks/bishopofbattle Enjoy! -RoG- |
