she asked that we "hash it out and clear the air" friday at 4:58pm before leaving for the weekend. i took that invite to mean that she wanted me to tell her how much i hated her. so... never one to dissapoint, i made her cry by telling her she had no right to attend my wedding and that i didn't want to be friends with her because she grew up on a farm. then i went home and enjoyed my weekend. she seems fine today. |

punkgrrrlie10 | I read it and thought it was professional and effective to get your message across. As your boss and a professional she should respect that and take it into consideration. | |

Yes, homosexuality is a problem, but I hardly think writing a letter to your boss is going to help. See what I'm doing here? I'm totally taking advantage of all those people who won't read through your post, and will just skim the other posts to see what it was about. I'm totally doing that right here, and now they will feel you are a homosexual, which on the internet translates into a resounding victory for me. |

true. true. so many, in fact, that she has yet to look at me in the hallways or respond via email. sometimes it takes a lot of words to get someone to stop using words with you completely. mission accomplished. |

Venting... a letter to the boss-lady. *Boss Lady*, You and I have spoken before about how in order to feel confident in my work; I need to feel as though I am not being monitored every moment of the day. In an effort to improve departmental productivity, I would again like to propose a more efficient line of communication be followed. As you know, the responsibilities of my position demand a high level of accuracy, which must be executed in a very focused manner. Small interruptions can cause large problems, which decrease both efficiency and morale. As I did with *that one annoying chick* when she worked for me in A/R, I held a weekly meeting that covered all basis of A/R. I know you, like me, are very busy and *This God Forsaken Company* can be a demanding work environment at times, but I feel the continuation of these meetings would allow any concerns and in-depth project status discussions to be brought to the table. As we all know, however, there will be times in between where issues may arise. I believe the most efficient way, as I have stated many times before, is in writing. I will email you with any obstacles, questions, etc. that may arise, and would again like to request you respond via email. This way, we can both review these email threads whenever necessary, without having to interrupt time/business critical projects. I am concerned that when I am asked questions, while in the middle of these time sensitive tasks, I am not able to provide you with either accurate or detailed answers, as my immediate task usually takes priority. As you know, my work directly impacts revenues and has tight deadlines. I would also like to take this opportunity to address one additional issue. Although this is an uncomfortable issue to speak about, I believe it must be addressed. I have a growing concern that you feel as if I am deliberately circumventing you on certain matters, as if I have an ulterior motive or a long-term scheme. If this is indeed a concern of yours, I assure you this is not, nor has it ever been the case. I feel at times as though my direct contact with anyone outside of yourself has a negative impact on how I am perceived by you. There will be times that it is necessary for me to go directly to the source, which can be anywhere from an employee in the warehouse to the President of *This God Forsaken Company*. I am by no means trying to circumvent you but rather find a more efficient way to deal with a situation. If you would rather, I will copy you on all communications that I make to internal and external customers in order to justify said communication. On that same token, I have worked with some of these employees for nearly a year and a half now, and consider some not only co-workers, but friends. Many of our conversations are not work related as this helps to relieve our common stress and creates a comfortable work environment. I believe as if you sometimes may feel left out, or hurt by the fact that you are not involved in these conversations. If this is the case, I apologize, but I do not feel I should suffer repercussions for whom I choose to socialize with at *This God Forsaken Company*. This is extremely unprofessional, if in fact, this is what is occurring. I sincerely hope this is not the case. In closing, I feel addressing our concerns and taking action on these measures will enhance communications and give us both an opportunity to complete our respective tasks in an efficient manner. In turn, our department will function much more smoothly and deadlines will be met more easily. Regards, *Your underpaid yet loyal servant* note: this chick actually had the balls to show up at our fucking wedding uninvited. We didn't have a church wedding with some 200+ people... we had a private ceremony with ELEVEN people present, all immediate family. WHAT THE FUCK? Intrusive and need a friend much? |
