The new Sci-Fi Wednesday Is pretty cool. 8-9: Proof Positive. They cover 3 different stories of paranormal activity, and use forensic science to find out the realistic cause of them. But one of the 3 cannot be proven false. 9-10: Ghost Hunters: A group of... ghost hunters investigate supposed ghost activity, and they apparently actually find stuff. From recordings of faint voices, to sudden "cold spots" (unexplained drop in temperature on only a specific area of a room), to actual video evidence. 10-11: Scare Tactics: I don't care if you think it's mean-spirited and horrible. I LOVE this show. I LOVE it more than any show on TV right now. The premise of the setups are fairly creative, the scares are hilarious, and everything is just great. They had a gay guy working to help clean up an old animal testing lab, where they were combining human and animal DNA. And he was SO stereotypically gay, and he was freaking out SO much, that I was laughing until my head hurt. They had this midget in makeup to look like a half-rat thing, and when it came out he SHRIEKED so much. Tears from laughing so hard at his misfortune. |
