| adeptninja | Yeah whenever you start its gonna stay at like 158 or some weird time like that. Wait an hour or so and if its still that high just try another torrent. | |

The timer is inaccurate anyways. Who cares. |

All i can suggest is to update Torando and check in the firewall settings that it is allowed to upload and download. Also check XP firewall is not on, if you haven't already. But is the file actually downloading and the ETA timer not working or is it not downloading at all? |

Militia, I'm running XP. When I first used tornado to dl a file it gave me the option of blocking or unblocking the program via firewall and I said unblock. The file starts downloading but it fluctuates (haha) between 90 and 110 hours instead of going down. |

Time to switch to a better ISP. |

| WhiteRat | My roommates and I received an interesting letter from our ISP yesterday. It explained in great detail how one of my roommates violated the Copyright Infringement act by downloading the movie AVP through a bit torrent off of Suprnova. They had the filename, path, time he dled it, ect. The ISP bascially told him to knock it off otherwise he would be facing serious charges. He immediately became nervous and proceeded to delete every movie that he had on his computer. This is the first time anyone that I know has came in contact with a situation such as this, and I actually kind of find it funny. | |

Does it stay like that throughout the whole download or does the download not start? Check you firewall settings and check windows firewall is not enabled. |

| DeadKennedys | I don't know what it is, but whenever I start to download a torrent it always says "100 hours" or so left. What am I doing wrong? | |

That does sound pretty useful actually, i need to get just CD2 of COD:UO from somewhere but all the torrents are for both disks. Il give it a go. |

this is nice cause you can choose what files you want out of a torrent, its nice for tv seasons and such. plus if you have a million torrents going like me its nice to have them all on one window. |

![]() Looks kind of like the kazaa of bit torrent clients. I think il just stik with torando, it lets me set upload and download speeds and where i want to save the file. Dont really need any other fancy crap. |
