Raize I would have to second Yamp.

An alternative is to grab audio using like a screencapture program or directx sound recorder and make sure you got your output piped to a directx sound out and then take the movie file and just strip out the audio. You got lots of options.

Dr. Fu Use Yamp. The recording quality is really good, and it gives a free .wav <-> .mp3 recorder too.

Don't know the link though, so google it.

xenosoul I use cool edit pro 2 for stuff like that.. you gotta set your wave to record in your volume mixer tho.. I think any program will do it but cool edit pro 2 has a bunch of filters and neat plugins that do some cool shit.

MetalMilitia If you tick 'sterio mix' in the recording control panel (volum panel > properties > recording) then windows recorder should record any sound on the PC. Then you could convert the huge wav file to MP3 with CDex.

LOOKING FOR A SOUND RECORDING PROGRAM FOR COMPUTERS

I have heard of a program that my friend with a mac has where you simply hit record, and it records any sound that is going on on your computor. Meaning if you are playing an mp3 AND an aim window makes a noise, it records both sounds onto the file. I guess i'm looking for something similar to that. The purpose is to record sounds from DVDs and other movie files. Is there such a program for windows, and is it free and easy to get? THANKS
