Carnivore I participated in the World of WarCraft open beta, and all I can say is if you like the WarCraft series or are looking for a fantastic MMORPG, you must own this game! That's the bottom line

Those kinds of things are tossed in by developers.

DamnthatDavid Nah, I was thinking more along the lines of the writers who wrote the actual storyline. I doubt the same people "wrote" the credits. Proberly the developers thinking they hot stuff and funny.

DamnthatDavid I have always thought it would be cool to make a live action Blizzard movie. Hell, they have the writers, they have the talent, they have the ability. If they put 1/10th the effort into the movie as they do games, Blizzard could crank out a major movie that follows along every single onf of their games. And I would watch them.

WarCraft has such depth. It is very unique. And I have always enjoyed the Eggs they toss into the games.

ziggytrix People in the beta can and do discuss the story lines. This game is going to do a lot to imprint "facts" about Azeroth on folks, as it's a lot more in-depth than the previous game, not to mention they're cranking out WC novels as well.

He reminded me almost like a character from a Jim Henson film. Which, of course, only makes me love it more.

The bonus here is that... can ANY of you thoroughly discuss the storyline of Warcraft? Probably not. On top of which, the world is so expansive and the storyline so branching, that Blizzard could do any kind of story from any period in their world, and it would STILL be Warcraft. A whole new story, without any of the characters from the games, and as long as it fit, it would be great. That's saying a lot, if I may say so.

ziggytrix I'm exaggerating a bit. Most of my job is making masks and other prep work, since I'm still learning.

It doesn't show very well at screen resolution, but this was my first "skin job."

Posted that in photoshop forum so I don't derail this thread any further. I'll make up for it later by posting some screenshots of Ogrimar or Undercity tonight.

Mockery Yeah, Blizzard really needs to do a movie sometime. Such amazing work and they always have the best music.

ziggytrix Actually, the game looks beautiful. You should check out some of the screenshoots.

I really like the way all the buildings still look like the buildings from the warcraft games, only to scale.

There's also a torrent-like Blizzard Downloader file on their site, where you can download a larger .avi version.

If you didn't want a Warcraft movie before, you'll want one now. Oh, and you're a retard for not wanting one before.
