Yes, weird names means names made mostly of symbols like $ and !. So what caused XP to suddenly start making use of my second harddrive like this? I haven't done anything significant beyond installing/uninstalling games. |

AChimp | I'm guessing the weird names that Boogie is talking about are the hash filenames for temporary files. It must be trying to use your second drive as a temporary cache... Not usually a good idea with a second drive. | |

Delayed write error? I keep getting this message from XP about it being unable to save files with weird names to my second harddrive. What's that about? |
