Running Windows programs with Linux?

Since my computer was completely broken and I didn't have a Windows XP disk to reformat it, and I was complaining about Microsoft...My dad got me Suse Linux for Christmas...

Now, it made claims of being able to run any Windows program, but so far I havn't been able to get any to install, let alone run.

So, does anybody know how to get Windows programs running on a computer running Suse Linux without a Windows partition?
