Have you guys played MMX8? It has vastly improved graphics and has switched to 3D. Unlike X7, it pulled that off flawlessly and the gameplay hasn't been sacrificed. It's as good as the early X series. :D |

Ninjavenom | It's not very impressive graphically, but it's still rather fun.

http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/rpg...22.html?page=1 Yeesh, Capcom, what the hell. Even the graphics for this Mega Man RPG thing are suspiciously shitty. Maybe it's just because I'm not seeing them in action, but it just looks like a spiffed up version of Mega Man Legends. Jesus, it's even on the Gamecube and it still can't make use of the graphics capabilities. |

Emu | Nearly every Mega Man game uses the exact same graphics as its predecessor. There's not even a pixel of difference between Mega Mans 1-6, X1-3, X4-whatever the newest one is that's on the PS2. I stopped after X4.

Except Quake has actually evoloved. i.e. Quake 1 - Single player Quake 2 - New engine - Single player and Multi Quake 3 arena - New engine - Multiplayer (some say the best of its time) Quake 4 - New engine (D3) - Single player and (probably) multi Each game has been praised for new features and the engines have bene superb. Almost every single FPS of recent years has used Quake3 tech. Megaman is just like... Megaman 1 - Some dumb blue guy shooting crappy monsters yadda yadda Megaman 10XZXZY Ultimate XS - Some dumb blue guy shooting crappy monsters. |

Seven Force | We could say the same for Pac Man, Sonic (the early ones anyway), Quake, etc.

DeadKennedys | Maybe I'm alone, but I think the Megaman series sucks hard. How much effort do they have to put into re-releasing old games and then making "new" ones that are almost identical to the last one?
