The 3 stooges never resorted to kicking each other in the nuts. So it was nothing like the three stooges, idiot.  As I was saying before, in terms of 80's to 90's War flicks, with the best being Band of Brothers, and the worse being Windtalkers or Pearl Harbor... Platoon rated just below Operation Dumbo Drop, and just above Hamburger Hill. |

Having seen the entire Redux version through a couple of times, I have completed my quota of watching the long ass trip through the river scenes. I no longer need to watch the tiger in the bush, or the trippy lost dog scene. They have grown stale. I only fast forward through movies that have a length greater then 2 hours. |

The only movie I've fast-forwarded through is The Patriot with Segal, and that was because I knew I'd understand the whole movie if I did. And I did. So I agree with Gadzooks. |

Apocolypse Now Redux is awesome, as long as you fast forward to the best parts, like the Air Calvery attack w/ a side order of napalm. Or the end, after the cajun guy's head was deposited in Sheen's lap. |
