Studio8 The Freddie Prinze Jr movie is his first in his "I refuse to do teeny boppers anymore" declaration. It's called Pool Hall Prohepts.
Factoid!

Studio8 I live in New Orleans, where tax incentives are making all the Hollywood people come here to shoot their movies and there aren't enough local people to work on them so me and my friends are rocketing up the ladders super fast.

Right now, they are filming All the Kings Men with Jude Law, James Gandolfini, Sean Penn, Kate Winslett, and some other people. I have two friends working on that.

Also, Pool Hall Prophets with Ving Rhames and Freddie Prinze Jr. just finished up and Lindsey Lohan is doing a movie here.

The city is going nuts. There are film crews all over the goddamned place.

Big McLargehuge How do you find awesome jobs like that?

Studio8 As part of the deal to let us film there, the movie people agreed to let the bar have its regulars stay there while we were prepping the set and they were all fat and gross and ugly and didn't understand what I was doing. And they wanted me to put up dollars with their names on them and that got them all excited.
It was a fun job.

DamnthatDavid Jessica Simpson as Daisy

I don't like her.

And the money reminds me of the Levensworth Soup Shop. Except it is real money, and it coats the ceiling, walls, tables, etc.

Awesome Job though.

My Long Hard Work Has Paid Off

So I got to work on Dukes of Hazzard earlier this year as a "Set Dresser" which means when the gay Set Designer comes in and says "I want those chairs bright orange and I want dollar bills on the ceilings and I want that picture moved over there" I'm one of the guys who has to figure out how to do what he wants.
Anyway, when the guy said "I want dollars bills to cover the ceilings", I had to go photocopy thousands of dollar bills, write on them, crumble them up, and then tape them to the ceiling. I just saw this picture today and now I am so proud to see those dollars hanging from the ceiling. It took me 13 hours to do all of that. And I got paid $345 to do it.
