Congratulations. You are able to hear very high-frequency sounds. You should see an ear doctor. Or try decreasing the refresh rate on your monitor at the expense of your eyesight. I can tell if a TV is on when I'm in someone's house because I can hear the high-pitched sound that the screen makes. I can't hear monitors, though, because their refresh rate is waaaaay higher. |

odd noises Any time I have a lot of white on my screen my monitor makes this really high pitched sound, its so bad it hurts my ears a little. Is it about to die on me or what. And another thing I've noticed is if I'm wearing headphones and I have the volume up all the way I can hear a noise when one of my cd drives is being accessed or when I move my mouse around. |
