Well, fuck. It appears this IS the Showtime special. I was under the impression the one I'd seen was Boogeymen 1. Apparently, Boogeymen 1 was a video release put out a few years earlier, focusing on horror footage, and less on interviews. All this waiting and anticipation, for nothing. I've been waiting to see this since September, and it turns out I already saw it. At least I'm taping it now. Sorry for the misinformation. |

The only thing worse than an overeager quoting fanboy is an overeager quoting fanboy who gets the fucking quote wrong. SHUT UP, Sports. I dug the original Boogeymen, thanks for the heads up James. |

HEADS UP: Boogeymen II reairing Thursday night. For those of you who don't know, Boogeymen II: Masters of Horror was a semi-documentary, with a handful of the most famous directors of the horror genre. They discussed the ideas behind the films they made, how they did some of the effects, and showed clips from various films. I believe it was on Showtime. And it was hosted by Bruce Campbell. It re-aired on October 31st, 2004, on the Sci-Fi Channel, so I don't know how graphic they were with clips. Which brings us to this thread. Thursday night/Friday morning, at 3am EST, on the Sci-Fi Channel. If I'm right, this is the first re-airing of the show since Halloween. So if you missed it the first time, or just wanna see it again, you have your date. Edited to reflect my mistakes. |
