ScruU2wice It really pisses me off how this is the only show on tv I want to watch and I keep missing it. Especially this week because I have a feeling it was gonna parody the Paper Brigade.

Krythor The new episode with the bully is the best yet. The whole ending with the Friendship Song and the Forcefield of Friendship was amazing.

pjalne Yeah, that was him.

I absolutely loved this episode. In fact, I'm completely falling in love with this show. While it plays on conventions, it never becomes full-blown parady, and only answers to itself.

Esuohlim I do believe I just saw them talking to Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off in the coffee shop

HickMan Thanks. I too think this is one baaad mother of a show. It's the best thing on tv. Right in front of Reno.

They were a performing comedy trio. They made several shorts which are on a discountined DVD and also used to be on their website. Heh, tought break.

And the show is the best thing on TV since Get a Life.

mburbank Yeah, I think this show will get canned. I like it to much for anything else to happen.

Paul Rudd was in last night's episode. He woked with them on WHAM. I love him. He isn't the funniest guy around, but no one can beat him to committing to the moment.

HickMan I missed the episode last night. But I can say I do love it so far.

Stupid question: What was Stella before it was on Comedy Central?

Emu Three seasons? We'll be lucky to see it by this fall.

James I loved the Powerpoint presentation, where the kittens morph into them.

And then the slow clap afterward.

"I... HATED that SO MUCH!"

This show is pure genius, which means it won't make it past 3 seasons, if that.

mburbank I LOVE THIS SHOW!

Last nights best line (I thought)

"Hiring you three on the basis of your performance in the sack race was the worst business dcision of my life."

I also liked the joke "then I say something else".

This is the most innovative comedy writing I have seen in a long time.

ScruU2wice I think that it's definatally the best show on TV right now.

Schimid It was Baker Street. Good call.

Krythor They did that joke better in the short "Audition."

You used to be able to watch the shorts on collegehumor.com, but I guess now you have to download the DVD from myspleen.net.

Esuohlim I really like this show, but every time I laugh I feel stupid for laughing.

So far the first episode was better. My favorite part is when David pointed and said "What's that over there?" and they walked around to the other side of the building to a small flyer that couldn't be seen from where they were originally sitting, and I only like that part because I didn't realize the joke the first two times I watched it.

Ant10708 Any websites where we can download these orginal shorts?
Jul 7th, 2005 04:53 AM
Krythor By the way, is the song you're thinking of Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty?
Jul 7th, 2005 03:53 AM
Zbu Manowar I'm liking it more and more. What's the name of the title song, anyway? Funk Rock?
Jul 2nd, 2005 08:01 PM
Krythor I wish the theme music was the same as in the shorts.

I understand they cut alot of the funnier lines from the promo pilot for the aired pilot. Stella is really going to get fucked in the ass if they focus too much on plot, but the viewing public are morons and need to latch onto a plot to keep watching so I don't foresee this show lasting too long. Which pisses me off.

Bell E. Laffs Unfortunately there isn't a soundtrack out of WHAS, they may have it on the DVD, but that's not guaranteed.
Jul 2nd, 2005 02:10 AM
James It's the music from Wet Hot American Summer, if that helps.

stella music question.

this is going to be really retarded.

In the first episode of Stella, now on Comedy Central, what's the name of the song that plays when David and the co-op woman start making out? It's been on the tip of my tongue for a while now, and it just started back up when I heard it again.
