hotel california is a metaphor for cocaine use. yep my eagles-freak english teacher explained it in excruciating detail and totally ruined it forever.

| sadie | i listened to the eagles virtually nonstop for a year or so when i was a teenager. i'd come home from school and my "hotel california" tape (i'm old!) cover would be broken on the other end of the room from my stereo where my mom had thrown it when she wanted to make a copy of one of her tapes. it's evil, you know. satanic church on the cover and all. :O |

i needed a jump from car right before it died...my neighbors are mexican so i used an online translator to ask for a jump because my battery was dead and it came out that i needed a leap because my dockhand of batteries were gone. at any rate it didnt help. my car still wont run drinking is good. |
