I saw the trailer for this thing, and it looks totally awesome. Also, it takes places quite some time after the last time we saw Solid Snake. It's all "An old soldier tired of battle." There's a shit-ton* of walking tanks, too. It's in the moderately distant future. * at least two |

It's not Big Boss. The patch is on the wrong side of his face. The patch is just a special device that Snake can use as an interface during the game. The trailer shows him getting recon information on an infantry group that's passing by, showing a radar and general information. I believe it'll also allow him to see through the eyes of his little robot buddy. If there is any twist, keep in mind Raiden is back. You SHOULD spend some time playing as him. I'll be kind of upset if you don't. |

i thought that as well, i dont expect it to be as streight forward as 'you play as snake, and he is old'. they must have something up their sleeves.....(paranoia sets in).... the sniper wolf fig is pretty awesome too |

![]() Could that be big boss? i mean he looks exactly like that, and he even has lost an eye ;O Or, it could just be snake becoming big boss, like the natural progression of the genes i guess ;0 And i just got my 12" sniper wolf doll yesterday too ;D ![]() |

Hope you guys have seen the trailer already. I just watched it, and it is the most mind-blowing shit I've ever seen. It looks even better than the Killzone 2 teaser (which may or may not have had pre-rendered bits). All this is done in real-time, and it's just fucking insane. |

Dr. Boogie | Snake's too masculine for them. They prefer their men to have a certain "It's Pat" quality.

The director or whoever is in charge of this game said that the last metal gear was definitely the last Metal Gear Solid. As the Solid series was meant to be a trilogy. Although he may have changed his mind, this probably isn't going to be metal gear solid, which might be why this is an old guy. By the way, I love it when old guys are the hero. It is always more satisfying to see a tough old man kicking ass rather than a 14 year old. Not that Snake was anything close to young in the fisrt place. |

Fortune has always been my favorite MGS boss. If they bring any of them back, I'd want it to be her. Her battle kinda sucked, but the idea was killer. |

Liquid never wore a bandana. This snake could be cool if he got pissed off with technology about 10 minutes into the game so he picks up the little camera mech and uses it to beat a fireteam of russians to death. CQC appears to be back and hopefully you can pull more badass shit like the Boss (AKA that stupid bitch who keeps breaking my guns) used in MGS3 at the moment I don't care about what snake look like I just want the lowdown on the bosses. To be honest The Pain and Fury were tits. maybe this time thyll have a guy who can take on the elements and make himself bricks.....then again all of the Enemies have stayed within the realm of complete posibillity exept Vamp (Who also appears to be in the game) |

Clearly, Liquid's arm has taken over Ocelot's entire body now. That's Ocelot's moustache, and Liquid's face. Clearly. Anyone that complains about the old, moustache-wearing Snake is a complete faggot, and you don't deserve to play a Metal Gear game. |

Ninjavenom | I liked Raiden. He was obviously no Snake, but i thought it was cool as shit that Kojima just went "Fooled you" and made you play as him from 90% of the game.

is it ACTUALLY snake tho? my main reason for doubt is his moustache, as solid snake is clearly a beard man or it could be raiden, could be a time traveling big boss for all we know edit: that text under the top right image says: old man? thats all the translation power i got |

It might not be that long after MGS2. Liquid Snake is the superior clone, right? The inferior clone's aging process might be accellerated. Thus, an old-ass Snake. Raiden's back by the way, and Kojima promised that he's cool enough to make people think differently about him. He got buff, too. |
