ScruU2wice I thought about scriptwriting for a living, but telescripting sounds like a horrible life with little respect. You should do it only if you really really really love writing for tv shows because it will put you through more shit than can be handeled by the less dedicated.

but thats just writing for TV :/

Archduke Tips I actually thought about writing. I was thinking about writing up some of the "best" nightmares that I have had... but I just don't see how I could make it into a career.

Dr. Boogie Well you could try writing. Back at my old engineering college, they used to tell us all the time that engineers with good writing skills were in high demand. Unfortunately, in addition to writing skills, you also needed some engineering skill as well, so I didn't do so well there.

Career fields

I'm getting an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, and I was wondering if anybody knows what kind of career fields I can look into?

I was thinking about law school... but I want to look at all my options before I make a decision.

I've ruled out medicine because I don't want to go through all those years of med school and then residency.

Other than that, I've thought of going into business... and it has some appeal and some serious downsides so I'm not sure I want to make a career out of it.

Besides just becoming an engineer, what are some other fields out there?
