| Slinky Ferret | I had this problem for a while but it wasn't to do with my home network but my modem. It may be worth firstly pinging your router and modem when this happens to see the response and also try repairing your network connection that will clear it out and should help. |

Strange internet problem I have been having this strange problem with my internet connection. It will suddenly stop working, but that's not the strange part. Any connection I have already established will continue to work, but any new connections I try to make will fail. For instance, I will be on AIM and suddenly I won't be able to visit any websites or log on to any online games... but my AIM connection continues uninterrupted. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. Once I restart it goes away again for awhile. Has anyone had this problem or might have a clue what's going on? I connect to the internet through a router. |
