Sethomas So, it was fun to point out the inaccuracies. Much of the armor was out of period, though you could tell that they at least tried. Saladin looked nothing like the manuscripts, and the Archbishop they always showed had long hair, which I'm pretty sure was forbidden for higher clergy.

Dr. Boogie I thought it was odd that they felt one of the crusaders should have blond highlights.

Crusades: Crescent and the Cross

Anyone catch this? I saw the first two hours tonight, and was pretty pleased. I found interesting what they chose to highlight and what to ignore, but it's impossible to be completely satisfied in such regards.

I'm just glad the History Channel is showing good stuff lately. Last week they had a special on the Black Death.
