Set a hotkey to Winamp to open up the Play > URL thing. Whenever you find a link you wanna play, right-click it, copy link location, press the hotkey and then Ctrl + V It works! :O |

| Mad Melvin | Open media player preferences->file types and uncheck mp3 if checked. Then see if "restore file associations at winamp startup" is checked in winamp preferences. |

.mp3 files open in WMP player in IE Let's say a website has a link to an .mp3 file. Usually when I click it, it'd open up Winamp and play the file in that. However, now it downloads the file, and the webpage opens into a Windows Media Player built into the browser. Hopefully that makes sense to you. I can't figure out how to fix this. I pretty much have an idea what to do, but I can't find the answers. So could someone please tell me what I need to fix here? |
