Yeah, I rented it one time. It was exactly what I thought Survival horror games were like when I first heard of them; running through a bleak and creepy setting, being chased by a group of untiring, scary freaks, ocasionally turning around to bust a few caps, then going into a little room and baracading the door, trying to think of a way to escape while they are slowly busting the door down, then all of a sudden BAM, they bust into the room and maul you. Not all that crap with one or two zombies who just stand there and moan at you while you rape them with your incindiary grenades.

That's okay. I appreciate the creativity. I used to write reviews for games at I-Mockery a few years ago. I did that just after college, when I had some free time. It was good practice. Since I own all the NES Dragon Warrior games, I wrote reviews on all of them. I wonder if they are still there. I think I'll take a look. |

Christmas Wishes Chistmas is near. November is the time for holiday shopping. Do any of you want any new games? I want Dragon Quest VIII. I'm a huge fan of the Dragon Warrior series-- I own all the games that were made for the NES, Gameboy Color, and Playstation. This newest game will come out for PS2, but EGM describes it as traditional (linear). I don't mind. I like games that have old school play style. To express my enthusiasm for wanting the game, I wrote a song: Christmas - Christmas time is near. Time for malls and department stores. I've been good, but I must wait. Hurry Christmas, hurry quick. Want a game that's very long... With dragons, slimes, and evil clowns. This game is called Dragon Quest VIII. Please get me this, Santa Claus. Feel free to write whatever lyrics or poems about any game you like. |
