I don't know fuck all about Cable in this video game, but I do know that ROB FUCKING LIEFELD is responsible for him. That is more than enough reason to hate that motherfucking bastard. With guns three times bigger than he is and poorly drawn feet.

As for X-Men 2099 I'd agree. In fact, I should just start a thread for them because they all seemed to suffer from being way too bland. Fascinating start but most of them sounded like they had people just mail Marvel their ideas for cool characters and picked the worst ones. Skullfire? Bloodhawk? Metalhead? And most of their powers were either the basics (speedster, muscleman, leader, the stretcher, etc) or completely pointless (Krystalin and...well, that). Through I will give them credit for being a fuck of a lot interesting then the Hulk 2099 series and whatever Ravage became once Lee left the title. And for making their leader go bad, foreshadowing the whole Onslaught affair...despite the fact he was a ripoff of the Punisher 2099's Fearmaster. Shit, I know too much about this. |
