If you value the data on it, you will back it all up now. |

Melvin was spot on. It did appear there, albeit as "dynamic". I messed around a little and got it to actually load the drive, but it says that it's online, but with "errors". I can't seem to find any, though. |

Last time that happened to me, the hard drive that stopped showing up crashed two weeks later. |

I had the exact same problem a few years back. Cant remember how I fixed it though. Mabey I just formetted my Windows drive and after I reinstalled it worked again. :s Although its entirely possible I did something a bit smarter. |

| Mad Melvin | Try right-clicking My Computer and select Manage->disk management and see if it shows up there. If it does, then no problemo. |

| Dr. Boogie | The BIOS shows the HD as being 81gb instead of 80gb, and the jumper I left as it was back when it was still working as a slave drive. |

| Mad Melvin | Is BIOS showing the right size for the slave HD? Did you make sure that the jumper is set to slave? |

Slave HD not loading So anyway, I got my kinda fixed, but for some reason, the slave HD isn't showing up in Windows. It shows up just fine in the BIOS, but not in Windows itself. I had another HD that I tried, and it loaded just fine, so what's the deal here? |
