oh it works , like shit i did that once when i was younger out of boredom you can get a blade in there , but dont expect to go stabbing anything with it cuz its not very sturdy , and sometimes the blade flys out which can be fun and hazardous at the same time !!! |

I think it would work but it wouldn't be very strong. The mechanism is exactly the same as on a real switchblade, they've even got a lock, but they're all a bit tinny. It would look just like a real one if you did it well enough though. Although I've just realized that they don't lock open like a real one would. The lock they've got just stops them from coming open accidentally. So I wouldn't recommend using one in a fight or you'll probably just chop your finger off. |

| Sacks | Since I can never find real switch blades due to their illegality, I have always wondered if replacing the comb on one of those with a blade would work. It would have to be a fairly sturdy one though. | |

| Pharaoh | They're all made in Hong Kong or China and they've got no name, just a symbol. I've looked on ebay but I haven't seen any yet that I haven't got, there are some with very slight variations but I'm not really interested in them. I think it'll probably remain a small collection. | |

Switchblade combs I've got a small collection of switchblade combs. They're like a real switchblade except a comb flicks out instead of a blade. Besides the standard plain black plastic one I've got a cow, crocodile, dragon, silver metal, black metal and a brown, wood effect, plastic one. I live in a seaside town and there are lots of shops that sell trashy toys and jokes, so they're easy to find here. I don't know how many different types there are, maybe I've got them all, but whenever I see a new one I buy it. |
