ziggytrix I like Meridian merlots and cabs. Cheap and good.

But my palatte is super un-refined. I'll drink anything out of a bottle.

Ever had Cheap Red Wine? Ran like $3 to $5 a bottle when I was in school, and it was actually decent.

I can't find any info about it, but it gets a mention in this story. It has a brown label with black allcaps faux-stencil lettering.

Sethomas The funny thing is, a few hours ago I saw a help wanted ad for the local winery so I drove my ass over there to apply.

They told me to call back in two days.

glowbelly merlot is yum and was my wine of choice for a long time.

unfortunately, i can't remember names of the wines that i liked. there was one with a purple plum on the front of the bottle that i always bought. it was about $8-$10 a bottle, which isn't too bad.

So, what are some good wines? Sad thing is that I once knew a lot about wines, but I've forgotten it all. Lately I've been drinking Riesling made by the local winery, and it's damn good stuff. I also like mead. Mead is the drink of my ancestors, so I get warm feelings from drinking it.
