By the Way: I just found my pride and joy, and I know Mr. Mockery can appreciate this, too. I've found the uncut special edition of Boondock, alas I've only seen it on amazon and it won't be around for another 3 months. The Boondock Saints: Uncut Much content was cut before the theatrical release due to that damn Columbine incident. Stupid kids ruin everything for everyone. |

I really liked the part when the cat exploded. Thank god for the A-B button on the remote control. ![]() |

I'm trying to find the Collector's Edition, I've seen it around the interweb. I've never really seen a sequal that lived up to the original. There is one exception for me, Transporter 2 which I believe was infinately better than the original. I do hope they keep the musical score original in the sequal, I loved it, but if you watch the DVD with the commentary on, you'll know that Duffy wished he had more than $6 million to use for famous songs, so I think he could go either way on that. |

I think there might be a topic about it already but I'm not sure. Either way, yeah it's definitely one of my top films. I've seen it quite a few times... great mix of comedy and action. Real good characters 'n all. It's gonna be really hard for the sequel to live up to it though... |

My Favourite Film. I am of the opinion that The Boondock Saints is the greatest independent film ever, if not the greatest film ever. The action sequences, the storytelling, the theme, all presented in a great fashion by first-time director/writer, Troy Duffy. The trailer doesn't do it justice, but here is the website where you can find it: http://www.theboondocksaints.com/ I hope someone hasn't already made a topic about this, I don't want to look lke an idiot. |
