Womti in my opinion soft-boiled eggs are nasty, but I still like fried ones with the yolk all runny for some reason. boiled eggs just make me sick.

Alive Soft boiled egg's broken down over toast with a fork (if there done just right) are excellent.

And those egg holder's are not just reserved for "posh" restaurant's. we have a couple set's, one dating back to my grand parent's (but admittedly, rarely used)

Like Hannibal's in Berlin, the only place where I've actually used one. All I remember about that breakfast was that egg holder, and I was dismayed at the degree of softness of the yolk, but I ate it anyways. I also had coffee, smoked trout, weird German bacon, and currants. I don't remember what else was on the plate, give me a break, it was a breakfast I had over three years ago. So, yeah. If you're in Berlin, go to Hannibal's for breakfast.

What was the bacon like?

Pub Lover Soft boiled eggs with toast soldiers for dipping were my favourite food when I was a tiny little person and eggs were good for babies.

Guitar Woman it's because you have to know exactly how long to cook them for or some crap like that

also it's a waste of water when I do it because i use like 5 cups to cook just one egg

executioneer soft boiled eggs are good but for some reason i never make them or eat them

maggiekarp For a while I used to eat boiled eggs all the time, but instead of the hard-boiled kind I like, I ended up always making perfect soft-boiled eggs. My mom loved me because they're her favorite, but I thought they tasted gross like that

Soft Boiled eggs

For those who don't know, this is when you cook the egg so that the white part is hard but the yolk is still runny. It's just like hard boiled eggs only better because the yolk isn't so gross and flaky!
