Rez kinda loose calling this a trilogy, implying there's a theme. it's not really that, it just a vehicle for Park's cruelty.

but it's awesome and i dont care.

lady vengeance is definately intense. we went in a lecture hall, lowered the screen, and watched it through. not as "oh god, what was the POINT" as mr vengeance, and not as stylistic or horrifying than oldboy, actually no, scratch that, it's amazingly fucking repulsive in parts, and ... it was really good.

can't WAIT for the dvd...

James Lady Vengeance is kind of a cross between Mr. Vengeance and Oldboy. Depending on what you liked about Oldboy would determine if you'd like this or not. It's definitely NOT Oldboy, though.

But if you liked the first two movies, you'll like this one. I loved the style and the story, and it was a perfect end to the Revenge Trilogy.

Mad Melvin I loved OldBoy. Am I going to like this movie?

Terra Nobody I know. Seems like an interesting storyline though.

Lots of people with funny names. A number of which might be recognizable if you've seen Oldboy or Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance.

Terra Who was in this or is it a sleeper?

James It's not officially out in the US at all, yet. Small theatrical release in May, with a DVD release following that (possibly July).

But like I said, I couldn't wait any longer. I'm still buying the DVD though.

I was just a bit disappointed that there was no "crossing out a list with red marker" scene like the first two movies in the trilogy. But other than that, the movie kicked ass.

Terra That isn't even out here in hicksville. When it comes out, I'll see it.

Sympathy for Lady Vengeance

I couldn't wait any longer.

But it was worth it. Movie kicked all kinds of ass, and I love it and I can't wait to own it on DVD.
