I've tried Battle toads few times. The whole series are fuckin' insane? Or atleast they were when I was a 9-years-old brat ![]() |

If that's the one I'm thinking of... It required basically memorizing the course, hoping the controller responded to my directional presses, and a lot of praying. Battletoads for SNES was infamous for that. And since my control is even more unresponsive to that one, I still have yet to come close. |

Star Fox Adventures, it was all like "Lol u can't beat my buttonmashing segment" and I was all like "I'll show you you motherfucker" and I went out and dropped 30 bucks on a controller with autofire just so I could beat that faggoty game. Then I sold it. ![]() |

King Hadas | I did that with Shadow of the Beast, very pretty game with cool music but the actual game mechanics are terrible and make it almost impossible to beat. | |

I can't remember any off hand, but I know exactly what you mean. I've done that a few times myself :O Fuck, I did that recently but can't remember which game it was. |

oh man, BTTF 2 & 3. That was my very first game I owned. It didn't make any kind sense whatsoever. What the fuck was the point of the birds that almost instantly kill you and the ear-raping sound that plays when they are on the screen? I don't remember seeing those in the movie. Or walking hamburgers for that matter. ![]() |

Craptacular Classics Revisited AKA I win dammit! So this morning I wake up early, am off of work and have absolutely nothing to do so I drag myself to my computer and fire up the ol' FCEUltra and search for some old ass NES game to amuse myself with as I figure out other ways to squander these precious off-hours I have. I scrolled through my window and saw Back To The Future II & III. I loved this game as a kid, but getting older kinda only had it in my ROMset for completion purposes. However I figured "Eh, I never BEAT it, let's force our ways through this," thereby starting a maddening quest of subpar-gaming and a trend of referring to myself as multiple entities. Flash forward three hours later, no worse for wear, and I came out of BTTFII&III a victor. I dunno if that makes me a winner OR a loser, but I finally defeated the game that seemed so impossible to win as a kid and impossible to SIT through as an adult. Anyone else have any stories they'd love to share of shitty games that nonetheless grab your attention by it's nuts and strangle it with obsession until it's over? |
