I was more disagreeing with the statement "Best sitcom ever" than "best sticom made by yanks" also, I don't buy the line that you watch a lot of comedy when you can only identify Black Adder and Father Ted as being british. |

What about... Arrested Development? Black Adder? Black Books? Bottom? Father Ted? Fawlty Towers? Get A Life? Larry Sanders? Newsradio? The Office? Police Squad? Red Dwarf? Seinfeld? Sledge Hammer? Undeclared? Young Ones? Not that all of those are SPECTACULARLY GREAT, but these are all sitcoms I own at some capacity on DVD. I don't own any of Married with Children on DVD! I actually used to but I sold them. Because I like all those shows more than Married with Children! And I didn't count cartoons and certain sketchy/parody shows. I know this is all opinion, but I just wanna show you why I have my opinion, and that I own a lot of DVDs. |
