The new Metallica's gonna suck so bad it'll be hilarious. Mark my words. They're attempting some sort of agressive 180 in direction. Think Lars Ulrich playing blastbeats and Soulfly guitars with James going "Yee-haw!" over the mess. It's gonna be so fucking funny. |

What's the deal with the Metal-lica covers? Hell, the first time I heard "Sk8er Boi" or whatever it's called, I was in the pub and it came on MTV... and I was quite literally counting the chords, on one hand, just like when I saw the "Josie and the Pussycats" trailer. Four chord rock n roll, exactly like the Ramones were making popular decades ago. So how can miss Lasagne, armed with a mic and four chords, replicate an eight minute thrash out of "Master of Puppets"? Are we talking metal without the solos, or the progression, or just about anything that actually requires TALENT? Oh wait, that's Linkin Park. Doh!! |

Hell, LET her cover Metallica. They deserve each other for both sucking so badly. Mind you, I still like oldschool Metallica, but everything past the black album is pure shite, and about half of the black album is pretty bad. They didn't used to suck, but they sure do now. |

| Generator86 | Eh, as much as I hate her(as I believe the vast majority of Mockers on here are in compliance), as much as her songwriting is juvenile at best, as terrible as her voice is(not to mention her guitar playing), I'd still do her, if only for the story. :/ | |

OMG! You guys hate her too?!?!?! Thank fucking Heyzeus! Not a godamn day goes by that I dont fucking hear about her or see her on a godamn magazine with her "punk" dress! GODAMMMIT! Im 17 and I know who the Sex Pistols are! I mean godamn if your going to join a group you need to know your fucking roots! You cant just sing a song about skater boys and then have some soft song about being sad and have a record on a major label and call yourself a punk. I wish people would relize that. Punk rock is all about telling a story about the pain, corruption, anger, governmental problems, and the like. Not about wearing a tie or having make up running down your eye. I read an interview with her and she said something about how she shouldn't be expected to know who the Sex Pistols, Ramones, etc. are because she's only like, 17 or something. I'm only 19 and the Ramones are one of my favorite bands. I totally copied Weird Al's schtick and started writing new lyrics to her big debut song this morning.
